Lexington — Vivian L. “Sue” Hill, 77, of Lexington, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington.
Funeral services for Sue will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta with Mr. Maurice Stribling officiating. Burial will be in the Atlanta Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home.
Vivian Lee “Sue” Morgan was born on December 24, 1944, in Springfield, the daughter of Francis and Virginia Donaldson Morgan. She was united in marriage to Pat Hill, her long-life companion who survives.
She is survived by her children: Robert Painter, Carl Wally (Lora) Painter, Mark (Linda) Langley, Shawny (Connie Burnett) Langley, Ricky (Sandy) Langley, Joe Langley and grandson whom she raised: Justin Bone-Hayter; thirty grandchildren, fifty-one great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter and special friends: Karen Cook and Gail Howell.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters: Brenda Anderson and Tammy Gordon, three great-grandchildren, two brothers: Raymond Morgan and Russell Morgan, and one sister, Lori Morgan.
Sue graduated from the Springfield High School in 1962. She was a member of the Atlanta Assembly of God Church. She had been employed at Steak and Shake Restaurant for ten years, and the McLean County Jail as a cook for eight years.
