McLean, IL – Rondy A. Rutherford, 59, of McLean, passed away at her home on Monday, August 31, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.
Services for Rondy will be held at McLean Christian Church in McLean. Visitation will be on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Memorial Services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, led Mr. Tony Billingsley. Burial will then take place at Funks Grove Cemetery in rural McLean. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Rondy Ann Coomer was born December 21, 1966, in New Castle, Indiana, the daughter of Ronald and June Lenz Coomer. She was united in marriage to Greg Rutherford on October 28, 1989. He preceded Rondy in death on July 22, 2026.
Rondy is survived by her children: Jakeob (Lynsey) Rutherford and Jessica (Logan) Belgrave; two grandchildren: Murphy and Foster; her father, Ronald Coomer; and one brother, Shannon Coomer.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her mother.
Rondy was a 1985 graduate of Olympia High School. She ran a home daycare for many years. In her spare time, she enjoyed crafting, reading, spending time with family, Longaberger baskets, football, and was an Elvis fan. Rondy was a member of Ebenezer Methodist Church.
