  6. Phillip was my second to last companion of my mission. He was going to be my last companion except, we took a trip to Paris to pick up our ZL car and did a little site seeing. Which we found out the hard way was a no no. So I spent my last few weeks of my mission in Boulogne- sur-Mer. Nonetheless, we had a good time together as missionaries and companions. He was a joy to have as a companion. We worked hard and we had many good teaching moments.

I am sorry that he is gone. We never connected after our mission. Which I regret now.

I hope he is meeting the people we taught that have also passed on.

Sending big hugs to the family.

  8. Phil was a great example of Christ like love. He was the first Zone Leader I met in the mission field, on the English Channel. We had some great work days together. I’m grateful for Facebook that’s allowed me to keep up with all the happenings in his life.
Prayers of comfort and peace for the Mastrolia family.
