Heyworth – Patrick Joseph Sellner, 65, of Heyworth, sadly left us on February 10, 2024, at 7:02 a.m. at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center in Bloomington, surrounded by his loved ones.
Services for Patrick will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at the Waynesville Christian Church. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Memorial Service at 11:00 a.m. with Mr. Maurice Stribling officiating. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Patrick was born January 13, 1959, to Henry and Theresa Hern Sellner in Panama, South America.
He is survived by his children: Amy (Ben) Sellner Boitnott, John (Danielle) Sellner, and Terry Moon; grandchildren: Hannah, Joshua, Kayle, Gage, Conner, JeriLynn, Shianne, ShayLynn, Reign, Josh, Grace, and Ryleigh; siblings: Tom (Susan) Sellner, Margaret Jean Kletz, Susan Sellner, Sally (Phil) Bloxsen, Ricky (Marissa) Sellner, and Nancy (Billy) Sellner-King; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom loved him very much.
Patrick was preceded in death by his grandparents, parents Henry and Theresa, daughter Mary Ellen, and siblings Joseph, Delores, John, and Maryanne.
Patrick was a devoted father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. His children and grandchildren were always his priority. He loved music. He played guitar by ear and loved to sing. He was a “jack of all trades.” There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, but love leaves a memory no one can steal.
Memorials may be made to the Waynesville Christian Church.
Final Arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta.
