Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, 2025, at the Peasley Funeral Home in Lincoln.
Burial will be at a later date in Lucas Chapel in rural Lincoln. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Morris Frederick Horchem was born on September 2, 1936, in Broadwell Township, the son of Jesse and Lucille Morris Horchem. He was united in marriage to Jane Seitzer on April 7, 1956. She preceded Morris in death on September 8, 2015.
Surviving Morris are his children: Randy (Julie) Horchem and Stacey (Bill) Conner; three grandchildren: Ali (Anthony) Mikels, Tisha (Chris) Matson, and Tyler Horchem; two great grandchildren: Luca Mikels and Lia Mikels.
He was preceded in death by his wife, one sister: Joyce Robinson, and one brother: Dean Horchem.
Morris had been employed at Stetson China, Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital, Caterpillar Inc., and Lincoln Christian Church for 28 years. He and his wife had been chaperones for the Good News singing group at the Lincoln Christian Church. He had also been actively involved with the Little Galilee Church Camp in Clinton. Morris always supported his children’ s athletics and sporting events.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lincoln Christian Church Quilters Guild or to the Little Galilee Church Camp in Clinton.
