Atlanta, IL – Frankie Belle James, 98, of Atlanta, formerly of the Dallas metro area, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at her home.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. Services will be held in the Dallas area at a later date.
Frankie Belle James was born March 7, 1927, in Burkburnett, Texas, the daughter of Walter W. and Ilda Frank Aldridge James.
She is survived by her niece and caregiver, Ginger Steinhausen of Atlanta, niece Suzanne Willis of Wichita Falls Texas, nephew Carl Don Smith of Palmer Texas and nephew Charles Lynn James of Kemp Texas.
Frankie was preceded in death by her siblings: Billie Bob James, John Conrad James and Rosemary Smith.
Frankie worked for 37 ½ years for Reserve Life Insurance in Dallas Texas.
She advocated for the homeless population in Dallas. She was also known for her love of pets.
