Mason City — Frances C. Montgomery, 89, of Mason City, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023, at Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Lincoln.
No Services are scheduled at this time. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Frances Christine Bowman was born on August 4, 1934, in Southport, North Carolina, the daughter of Edgar F. and Eunice Larsen Bowman, Sr.
She is survived by her children: Roberta Henderson, Bob Montgomery, Donald Montgomery, and Michael Montgomery; six grandchildren: Nathan Henderson, Sarah Henderson, Rachelle Montgomery, Brooke Barger, Chase (Gina) Montgomery, and Brynt (Casey) Montgomery; thirteen great-grandchildren; and one sister: Valarie Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother: Edgar Bowman, Jr.
Frances retired from The Eaton Corp./Cutler Hammer after 25 years of service.
Her hobbies included cooking, reading, sewing, and spending time with her grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
Peasley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
