Atlanta — Erik M. Pyle, 40, of Atlanta, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 12, 2022.
Funeral Services for Erik will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at the Atlanta Christian Church with
Mr. Maurice Stribling officiating.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at the Atlanta Christian Church. Additional visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday at the church.
Burial will be in the Atlanta Cemetery.
Erik Michael Pyle was born on February 3, 1982, in Lincoln, the son of Fredrick Lee and Anita Yvonne Lowery Pyle. They survive.
Also surviving are his son, Devin Pyle; fiancé, Candice Leesman; maternal grandparents: Karen Cook and Virgil (Joan) Lowery; and paternal grandparents: Jim (Alice) Pyle; and one uncle, Jason Cook.
He was preceded in death by one grandfather, Jewel Cook.
Erik graduated from the Olympia High School in 2000. He last worked at MIGI. He was a member of the Atlanta Christian Church and had volunteered with the Atlanta Rescue Squad.
Erik loved music and playing the guitar, along with doing photography. He was a people person and never met a stranger. He was an avid Cubs fan and enjoyed watching sports.
Memorials may be made to the Atlanta Rescue Squad.
