McLean – Donna K. Worth, 79, of McLean, passed away at Carle BroMenn Medical Center on Thursday, January 29, 2026.
Cremation Rites have been accorded. A private family Celebration of Life will be held.
Donna K. Hawkins was born August 6, 1946, the daughter of Donald Eugene and Lala L. Young Hawkins. She was united in marriage to William “Bill” R. Worth on October 8, 1965, at the Waynesville United Methodist Church.
Donna is survived by her husband, Bill; two daughters, Sherry Orgler and Melissa Bailey; four grandchildren: Tyler (Dakota) Orgler, Katie Orgler, Ashley (Olivian) Jurcau, and Devin Dooley; one sister, Randa (Edward) Stanek; and one brother, Steve (Jan) Hawkins.
Donna had worked in the office of the Lincoln State School doing secretarial tasks. She was a member of the Illinois Country Music Association. According to her family, she “lived for music” and loved to dance. Donna and Bill enjoyed traveling to Branson, MO, where they attended many music shows and made many friends. She also loved following her kids’ and grandkids’ activities and was very excited to become a great-grandmother in June with the expected birth of first great-grandson.
Memorials in Donna’s name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Final arrangements have been entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta.
