Diana L. Windsor

August 23, 1969 – May 27, 2022

Atlanta — Diana Lani Windsor, formerly known as Ronald I. Coker, II, 52, of Springfield, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022, at his mother’s home after a lengthy illness, surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral Services for Diana will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta with Mr. Maurice Stribling officiating.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.

Burial will be the Atlanta Cemetery.

Diana Lani Windsor was born on August 23, 1969, in Normal, the son of Ronald and Yvonne Dale Fox Coker.

He is survived by his mother and step-father: Yvonne (Richard) Zban; his two sisters: Tabitha (Larry) Coker Jones and Meridith Hendricks; his grandmother: Joyce Fox; faithful friend, David Baldin; nieces and nephews: Brayden (Mandi) Finchum, Sydney Hendricks, and Zachary Hendricks, and step-nieces and step-nephews: Hailey (Chase) Decker, Darci (Erick) Hoepner, and Brittney (Jake) Schmidgall.

He was preceded in death by many family members, but closest to his heart, his grandfather Meridith “Jake” Fox.

Diana graduated in 1989 from the Illinois School for the Deaf in Jacksonville. He also attended Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. and Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. He graduated from Medical Coding School in December of 2021 and had plans to work in that this year.

He was a member of the Deaf Community and enjoyed summer camps at the Bill Rice Ranch for the Deaf in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, for 48 years. He was involved with Illinois Special Olympics as an athlete and later as a volunteer. He loved collecting movies.
