Charles “Chuckie” W. Ruble

Atlanta – Charles “Chuckie” W. Ruble, 67, of Atlanta, passed away at his home on Sunday, January 14, 2024.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta. Pastor Ron Marsiglio will officiate. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Waynesville.

Charles Wesley Ruble was born September 6, 1956, in Lincoln, the son of Gerald E. and Dorothy L. Iffland Ruble.

He is survived by three sisters: Sandra (Duane) Tabor, Sharon Hawthorn, and Linda Daniels; and several nieces and nephews.

Chuckie was preceded in death by his parents, and great-niece Keira Johnson.

Chuckie was a graduate of Olympia High School and Lincoln College. He attended the Minier Assembly of God church. Chuckie was a fan of the Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears. He enjoyed music and radio talk shows and researching family genealogy. He was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and the Waynesville American Legion.

Memorials may be made to the Waynesville American Legion or the Atlanta Fire Department.

Final arrangements are entrusted with Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home of Atlanta.

  1. You will be greatly missed, Chuckie. I know you’re in a better place. You were a good friend to me after Steve passed. My sympathies go out for the family.
