Kenny — Buddy A. Godbey, 80, of Kenney, Illinois passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 19, 2023.
No Services are scheduled. Cremation Rites have been accorded.
Buddy Ackley Godbey was born on April 16, 1943 in Decatur the son of Merle Ackley and Nellie Alberta Tomlinson Godbey.
He was united in marriage to Loretta Mae Varner on May 20, 2006. She survives.
Also surviving are his two sisters: Ruth (Bill) Stull and Judy (Ernie) Robertson.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Buddy enjoyed fishing, golf carts and his friends.
He was employed at Mt. Pulaski Products for many years.
