Atlanta – Lucy D. Williams, 97, of Atlanta, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2023, at the McLean County Nursing Home.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Quiram-Peasley Funeral Home in Atlanta. Mr. Tony Billingsley will officiate. Burial will follow at the McLean Cemetery.
Lucy D. Gordon was born April 15, 1925, the daughter of Martin T. and Gertrude F. Nevius Gordon.
She was united in marriage to Glenn e. Williams on June 22, 1942. He preceded Lucy in death.
She is survived by one sister, Elizabeth Daugherty and one brother, Rex Gordon.
Lucy was preceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
Lucy had worked as a candy maker for the Paul F. Beich Company in Bloomington. She enjoyed traveling and tracing the Gordon family roots.
