Grove, Oklahoma — Earline M. Powell, 94, of Grove, OK, formerly of rural Atlanta, passed away at Grandwood Assisted Living Center in Grove, Oklahoma on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 1:30 p.m. at Mountjoy Cemetery in rural Atlanta with Rev. Spencer McPheron officiating.
Earline M. Powell was born on November 25, 1929, in Armington, Illinois, the daughter of George and Georgia Dickson Fulk. She was united in marriage to Wendell Powell on November 30, 1947. He preceded her in death on February 8, 1997.
She was also preceded in death by brother Donald Fulk, sister Bernadine Deterding, and grandson Troy Powell.
She is survived by her children: Judy (Rick) Thielen and Jack (Barb) Powell; four grandchildren: Todd (Stephanie) Thielen, Natalie (Mark) Addington, Tera (Jamie Liepold) Knudsen, and Jacob (Haleigh) Powell; and six great-grandchildren: Sarah, Travis, Willow, Tommie, Abbie, and Emberly.
Earline was a member of the Eminence Christian Church in Atlanta and attended the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church in Heyworth.
Earline worked at the Bartman Nursing Home in rural Atlanta for many years as a nurse’s aide.
Her hobbies included gardening, sewing, crocheting, embroidery, quilting, and crafts.
Memorials may be made to the organization of the donor’s choice.
