Lincoln — David A. Wheeler, 80, of Lincoln, passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
Cremation Rites have been accorded and no services are scheduled at this time.
David Allen Wheeler was born on August 9, 1943, in Lincoln, the son of Charles and Iva E. Avery Wheeler. He was united in marriage to Marjorie Griffin on June 6, 1965, in Lincoln. She survives.
Also surviving is his daughter: Amy (Eric) Bateman; one granddaughter: Tiffany (Travis Brady) Barnes; and one great-granddaughter: Macy Brady.
He was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.
David was employed at the Bottle Factory for forty-three years, retiring as a lab tech.
His hobbies included shopping at Menards, off-track betting, watching the horses race, and his Ninja Turtle collection.
