She was born at St. Clara’s Hospital in Lincoln on November 4, 1946, to Carl and Helen Simon Feldman. She married Russell Harvey on January 20, 1968. They shared 56 years together and raised five children together. Twins Carlene (Kevin) Benson and Collene Harvey, along with Heather (Troy) Drake, Daniel (Debra) Harvey and Sara Harvey. She had twelve wonderful grandchildren and four great-grandsons. She had many nieces and nephews.
Ruthann served her community for thirty years as the lab secretary for Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital. The staff there became her lifelong friends.
Ruthann was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Helen, and her only sibling, her brother Robert (Bob) Feldman, as well as several cousins.
A Mass of Christian Burial Service will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Rev. Joseph Dondanville officiating.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Peasley Funeral Home. A Rosary will be recited at 4:30 p.m. prior to the visitation at the funeral home.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in rural Lincoln.
Memorials may be to the Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
Final arrangements are entrusted with Peasley Funeral Home of Lincoln.

I was so sorry to learn of Ruthann’s passing. My mother also worked at ALMH and that’s how I got to know Ruthann. She was such a a kind, sweet person. She’ll be missed by many. Prayers to all.
