Lake Fork, Ill.- Gary W. Constant, 74, of Lake Fork, passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025, at his home.
Graveside Services for Mr. Constant will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Lincoln.
Gary Wayne Constant was born in Lincoln, the son of Dean and Marcella Routson Constant. He was united in marriage to Kay Laymon on August 17, 1974. She survives.
Also surviving are his children: Tracy (Eldon) Mauer, Tammy (Wayne) Constant- Redenbaugh, Tina (James) Shumaker, Rachel Buckley, and Austin Constant; eleven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Vickie (Jeff) Orme and Cheryl Lee.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister: Connie Buckner, and one son: William Dean “Bo” Buckley,
He was employed as a truck driver for Redbird Trucking / Ron Davis Trucking of Elkhart, Ill.
Gary’s hobbies included riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, building antique cars and fishing.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Memorial Home Hospice.
