Lincoln — Dorothy L. Bernahl, 93, of Lincoln, passed away on Monday, October 31, 2022, at Copper Creek Cottages in Lincoln.
Private family services will be held at the Peasley Funeral Home.
Burial will be at a later date in Zion Cemetery.
Dorothy Louise Mittelsteadt was born on December 23, 1928, in Lincoln, the daughter of Arthur and Norma Maxheimer Mittelsteadt. She was united in marriage to Raymond Bernahl on May 23, 1948, in Mt. Pulaski. He preceded her in death on September 10, 2019, in Lincoln.
She is survived by her children: Gary (Cindy) Bernahl, Dennis (Beth) Bernahl, Gene (Barb) Bernahl, and Cheryl Bernahl; twelve grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Dorothy graduated from the Lincoln Community High School in 1946.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
